It blooms for two months if it is not too hot. Asian buttercup will feel great and bloom profusely in cool spring weather.
In Latvian weather conditions, it is preferable to start indoor awakening of the Asian buttercup in March. Soak the tubers in room temperature water for 3-4 hours. The tubers are then spread on 2-3 cm of substrate and covered with 1-2 cm of soil. The tubers prepared in this way are placed in a cool dark room at 10-12 degrees Celsius. After a week, the tubers will have awakened when they should be moved to a light and cool place. An unheated greenhouse will also do, provided the temperature does not drop below 5 degrees Celsius.
